Please ensure you and your athletes have read the event Code of conduct
There is no parking available on site.
While there is on street parking, it is metered and time limited. Please consider public transport, or taxis, to get to the venue.
If driving, please allow enough time to park and walk to the venue. You may need to park a distance away.
Athletes will perform on a flat wooden floor.
Judges will be seated in front of the tiered audience seating.
The performance area will be marked with corner floor markers.
Please note - NO HEELS are to be worn on the performance floor.
We have a large gymnasium on site as warm up space.
Please limit the amount of gear brought in to this space, and keep gear to the sides to allow maximum clear space for others to warm up.
Please ensure your athletes are sharing the space, and allowing everyone a fair chance to warm up.
The gymnasium and the performance hall are strictly water only zones.
No food or other liquids can be taken inside these spaces.
Please ensure your athletes go outside to eat.
We are committed to providing a smoke, drug and alcohol free event.
Any participants, including coaches, found to be in breach of this may be asked to leave the venue immediately.
Please note - as the event is hosted at a school, there is strictly no smoking on site.
Each club must send a representative to registration.
This is at 8:40am-9:10am on Saturday morning, in the Gymnasium.
At registration you will receive coach and athlete passes, and confirm if there are any scratchings from your entries.
The person attending registration is responsible for distributing the coach and athlete passes. Please make sure your athletes know who to get their passes from.
Each registered coach will have a coaches lanyard, which needs to be visible when at the event.
As we have limited event space, only 1 registered coach per routine will be permitted.
Athletes who are also coaches do not need wrist bands.
Each athlete will receive a paper TYVEC wrist band. These act as their ticket to the event, allowing them to watch from the audience and access backstage areas.
Athletes will be able to watch from the gallery, or in the audience if space allows.
Athletes who do not make finals will be able to watch Finals, but must have their wrist band.
Athletes and their coaches are responsible for ensuring they are at the venue with enough time for their performance.
Please be aware that the times in the timetable are a guide only. Due to the nature of the event, we may run slightly early or late throughout the weekend.
We will be marshalling 3-5 routines to the side stage area.
Athletes and their coaches responsible for their athletes being side stage in time for their performance. We recommend being side stage 10 mins prior to your performance time.
Our backstage managers will be checking you in to side stage. Once checked in, you must notify the stage manager if you leave before performing.
For health and safety purposes, we ask that athletes exit the side stage areas after they have finished performing.
To protect the privacy and safety of athletes, we are asking that spectators do not take photos or film from the audience seating.
There will be a "photography zone" in front of the audience, where people can film and/or take photos.
This should only be people who have explicit permission from the athlete to do so.
Coaches may film from side stage or the athlete gallery.
Please note - We will be announcing this policy during the event, and there will be signage displayed.
However, we will only be enforcing the policy where athlete safety is seen to be compromised.
We do not have the capacity to manage disputes or issues around filming other peoples choreography etc.
